9th December 2022: MoU signing with Nepal Art Council

INTACH A&MH Division (Architectural and Material Heritage Division) and the Nepal Art Council (NAC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The event witnessed the presence of esteemed guests, including Mr. Udaya Rana, Honorable Member of Parliament, who served as the Chief Guest, and Mr. Suresh Shrestha, Joint Secretary from the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, who graced the occasion alongside officials from the governments of Nepal and India.

The MoU signifies the collaborative efforts between the two institutions to work on a wide range of art and cultural heritage conservation-related activities. It encompasses the preservation and restoration of material heritage, as well as heritage education initiatives.
